1,915.19 acs. Sagardia Brothers Ranch

The Sagardia Brothers Ranch comes with rich history of a multi-generational Basque family who immigrated from France in the 1920’s and started running sheep on this exact property almost 90 years ago. At one point their operation grew to over 20,000 head of sheep scattered across the west and east side of the San Joaquin Valley. It wasn’t until 1979 when they had the luxury of moving Westlands water up to the property to start their venture into irrigated farmland. The current family members have continued their ancestor’s legacy of farming these fertile soils and maintaining a balance of open land to irrigated acreage. The entire ranch is 1,915.19± acres, with 473± acres planted to almonds and the balance being open farmland or grazing land.
